Bay Area Dental Expo Host

Dr. Dobee is a nationally recognized expert in AI, dental innovation, and emerging technologies shaping the future of oral healthcare. With over 22 years of experience, she bridges the gap between high-tech solutions and real-world clinical success. As a Key Opinion Leader and advisor to companies like Colgate, Dr. Dobee advances caries detection, CBCT diagnostics, and patient-centered technologies. She also shares her expertise through global dental conferences, red carpet events, and health-focused programs. Beyond innovation, Dr. Dobee is deeply committed to leadership development, team building, and practice growth. She holds a Master’s degree in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which she integrates into her coaching and speaking to elevate communication and patient experience. She is also the author of "Ninja Tooth Battles", a playful and educational children’s book that inspires healthy oral habits from an early age. Through consulting, speaking, media, and mentorship, Dr. Dobee continues to lead the way in shaping dentistry’s future—where innovation and human connection go hand in hand.

Stephenie Goddard
Keynote Speaker

Stephenie Goddard, CEO of Glidewell Dental, leads one of the world’s largest dental laboratories and producers of dental technology, continuing education programs, and restorative materials. With nearly 30 years of leadership experience, she has been instrumental in driving Glidewell’s expansion, business development, and customer experience worldwide. Stephenie joined Glidewell in 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources and has held progressive leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Business Development and Chief Experience Officer, before becoming CEO. She was pivotal in launching the glidewell.io™ In-Office Solution, a same-day dental restoration technology. A passionate advocate for the dental community, Stephenie founded Guiding Leaders in 2019 to develop dentists’ leadership and business acumen. The six-month intensive program began with just 14 participants and has since grown to host 50 dentists annually. Dr. Setareh Lavasani is a highly sought-after keynote speaker and globally recognized authority in oral and maxillofacial radiology and advanced imaging. A Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, she is a Tenured Full Professor and Director of Oral Radiology & Advanced Imaging at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA and holds a Certificate in "AI in Dentistry" from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is the founder of the "Lavasani Diagnostic Institute" (www.lavasanidx.com), through which she has spent more than two decades bridging academia and clinical dentistry via continuing education and CBCT consultations empowering clinicians to strengthen diagnostic accuracy and master CBCT interpretation. Dr. Lavasani’s leadership extends across organized dentistry as the 2026 President of the Tri-County Dental Society, a delegate to the California Dental Association House of Delegates, and a member of the Society’s Board of Directors. She is the recipient of WesternU’s "Distinguished Faculty Award" and a graduate of Glidewell’s "Guiding Leaders" executive leadership program, and her national recognition includes Incisal Edge’s “40 Under 40,” Dentistry Today’s Leading Women in Dentistry cover feature, and Continuing Education Leader honors (2023–2024 and 2025). Balazs Feher, DMD, PhD

Balazs Feher is an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard University. The Feher Lab conducts research at the intersection of applied artificial intelligence and clinical decision making. Feher serves as an invited contributor to the ITU/WHO/WIPO Global Initiative on Artificial Intelligence for Health, as well as Chair of the European Association for Osseointegration’s Junior Committee. Feher earned his DMD and PhD from the Medical University of Vienna, where he trained as a postgraduate assistant in oral surgery and later habilitated, earning the venia docendi in dental medicine. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard before joining the Faculty of Medicine.

Mina Levi, DDS

Dr. Mina Levi is the Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director of California Dental Innovations in San Francisco, where she has built a technology-driven practice focused on comprehensive, cosmetic, and digital dentistry. With more than 15 years of clinical experience and over 1,500 Invisalign® and clear aligner cases treated, she is recognized for integrating digital workflows, smile design, and interdisciplinary treatment planning to deliver predictable, minimally invasive patient care. An internationally trained dentist with advanced education in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and digital dentistry, Dr. Levi is an educator and speaker on clear aligner therapy, artificial intelligence, digital workflows, 3D printing, and practice growth. She serves as Chair of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) Invisalign Study Club in San Francisco and is a Key Opinion Leader and clinical advisor for leading dental technology companies, including Align Technology, iTero, Pearl AI, Dandy, Codent, and Zylo. Dr. Levi is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), a Master of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (MAACA), a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), and a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (FADI). Felicitas Bidlack, PhD

Felicitas Bidlack, PhD, is Professor and Senior Director of Research Affairs at the ADA Forsyth Institute, Inc., located in Somervile, MA. Dr. Bidlack received her MS in Biology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany, and her M.Phil and Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from The George Washington University in Washington DC. She joined the Forsyth Institute as a postdoctoral researcher to deepen her understanding of processes involved in tooth enamel mineralization during formation and repair, which is still the focus of her ongoing research projects. Dr. Bidlack has a unique skill set for multimodal analyses of teeth, using chemical analyses and a suite of high-resolution imaging techniques. Dr. Philip Kang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Professor in the Division of Periodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he also served as Program Director of Postgraduate Periodontics. He previously held a faculty appointment at the University of Pennsylvania as a Clinical Assistant Professor. He earned his DDS from the University of Michigan, followed by advanced training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Harvard University and a certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Kang maintains a full-time clinical practice with a focus on dental implants and laser-assisted therapies. He has developed extensive expertise in multiple laser wavelengths, including Er,Cr:YSGG, Er:YAG, Nd:YAG, CO₂, and diode lasers. His research on laser applications and implant-related therapies has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and he lectures internationally on advanced surgical and prosthetic techniques in periodontology and implant dentistry.

Dr. Stephen Thaddeus Connelly was born in New York and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the University of Miami in Florida. He then attended Columbia University to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of California San Francisco. For his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he attended the University of California San Francisco after which he earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Craniomaxillofacial Sciences. Dr. Connelly is licensed to practice both dentistry and medicine and has a permit for general anesthesia. He serves as an attending surgeon at Veterans Affairs Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center. He is licensed to practice both dentistry and medicine and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco teaching students and residents. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles and continues his research in the field as a principal investigator.

Mike Yang, PhD

Mike Yang, PhD, is the CEO and Co-founder of LuxCreo. Mike is a serial entrepreneur with a career spanning across corporate strategy, global operations, and hardtech commercialization. Before LuxCreo, he was the Managing Director and Board Member at Bloom Energy, the CFO of Danoo, and a consultant at McKinsey & Co. Mike is a technologist at heart. He received his PhD and MS from Harvard in Engineering Sciences and Computational Biology, with a summa cum laude BA in Applied Math and Medical Sciences. He also holds a MBA from Wharton in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Under his direction, LuxCreo has grown from a proof-of-concept business plan to a global leader in digital dentistry and a trusted partner to the dental professional community. In his spare time, Mike follows the latest developments in Al/ML.
